PKN vol.44 May 23rd, NEXT MONDAY

A little late notice, but we're hosting another event on Monday evening, the 23rd, at 330 Ritch.
A really great group of presenters has stepped up, and i think we'll be seeing a fantastic range of topics. We've got a community educator and artist, a bike-builder, a spirits distiller, a sustainable entrepreneur, a few industrial designers, and a sociologist, to name a few.
GRASSROOTS is the theme for May. Come hear about how design can be used for social, environmental, or even political activism and change. We've scheduled another event with the great folks at 330 Ritch for Monday, May 23rd at 8:20pm (doors at 7pm). We will be back at 330 Ritch, (after April 16th's brief detour to Yoshi's). Their helpful staff will be fixing drinks behind the bar and Little Skillet will be cooking up some delicious Fried Chicken & Waffles (w/hot sauce OR syrup), chicken sandwiches, amongst other things.

Pecha Kucha Night #43 - INSPIRE JAPAN - April 16th @ Yoshi's

The on-going tragedy in Japan has prompter our global Pecha Kucha community to reach out along with Architecture for Humanity through Pecha Kucha to raise funds for their important work and raise awareness of the diverse, pressing needs confronting our friends in Japan. This will be just one stop along with over 100 other Pecha Kucha cities sweeping around the world to help give a hand just like last year's huge effort for Haiti.

Because SPACE IS LIMITED at Yoshi's, you must PRE-PURCHASE tickets online here:

Yohsi's is a premier jazz venue, with a full bar & excellent hors d'oeuvres available for sale and donations will be warmly accepted, but tickets MUST be PRE-PURCHASED online.
